The Frymaster 8060814 Fryer High-Limit/Safety Thermostat Kit reacts to changes in oil temperature by sensing heat through its 2-1/4" bulb, and interrupting the electrical circuit until the preset limit of 425°F is reached. Its 1/2" MPT threaded fitting holds the thermostat securely in place, allowing continuous temperature monitoring throughout fryer operation. The high-temperature part is positioned within the fryer’s heating and temperature control section, where it interacts with the sensing and electrical systems to monitor operating temperatures. Installation allows the temperature control assembly to perform its intended operation during routine commercial cooking cycles.
