The Frymaster 8065333 Fryer High-Limit/Safety Thermostat Kit controls excessive heat by sensing oil temperature, and breaking the electrical circuit when the preset safety limit is reached. This process stops power from reaching the heating elements until the fryer is returned to an optimal operating condition. This part is mounted within the temperature control assembly, where it monitors heat as part of the overall safety system. Built with a 2-1/4" sensing bulb, a 425°F operating limit, and a 1/2" MPT threaded connection, it is designed for installation in compatible commercial fryer configurations.
