The Frymaster 8070095 Fryer High-Limit/Safety Thermostat Kit operates by sensing the oil temperature and opening the electrical circuit when it reaches 425°F stopping the heating process to control excessive temperatures. Its 2-1/4-inch sensing bulb detects heat inside the fry pot, while the 1/2-inch MPT fitting secures the thermostat in the designated mounting point for proper operation. The high-limit kit is installed within the fryer's temperature control assembly, where it interacts with the heating system to monitor high-limit conditions. It includes the thermostat and associated installation parts required for compatible commercial fryers to support cooking operations.
