The Dean 8262454 High-Limit/Safety Thermostat Kit operates by monitoring fryer oil temperature and opening the electrical circuit when the preset temperature limit is reached, stopping the heating cycle. It continuously senses heat changes to support controlling the operation of the fryer during cooking. The high-temperature part is installed within the fryer's temperature control assembly, where it interfaces with the heating system and safety controls. The 2-1/4-inch sensing bulb, 425°F temperature rating, and 1/2-inch MPT connection are designed to match the specified mounting and operating requirements. It includes the thermostat and related installation parts for compatible commercial fryer applications.
