The Frymaster FM806-0178 High-Limit/Safety Thermostat Kit responds to excessive fryer oil temperatures by, breaking the electrical circuit once the preset limit is reached stopping the heating process. It uses a temperature-sensing element to monitor heat levels continuously and activate the high-limit operation when required. Installed within the fryer's safety and temperature control assembly, the part operates alongside the heating system to regulate operation. The kit features a 2-1/4-inch sensing bulb, a 425°F high-limit setting, and a 1/2-inch MPT threaded connection for the specified installation configuration. It includes the thermostat and related installation parts for compatible commercial fryer models.
