The Frymaster FM806-3410 High-Limit/Safety Thermostat Kit detects excessive cooking oil temperature and automatically interrupts power to the heating system when the preset 425°F limit is reached. Incorporating a 2-1/4-inch sensing bulb with a 1/2-inch MPT connection the thermostat continuously measures oil temperature, and responds when unsafe operating conditions occur. Installed through the fry pot wall with the sensing bulb positioned in the oil, the kit interfaces with the fryer's safety wiring and temperature control assembly. It operates together with the operating thermostat and heating controls to provide an additional layer of thermal protection during fryer operation.
