The Frymaster FM8060178 Fryer High-Limit/Safety Thermostat Kit monitors cooking oil temperature, and automatically interrupts the heating circuit when the preset 425°F safety limit is reached. Designed with a 2-1/4-inch sensing bulb and 1/2-inch MPT connection the thermostat continuously detects oil temperature and signals the safety controls to stop further heating when necessary. Installed through the fry pot with the sensing bulb immersed in the oil, the kit connects to the fryer's electrical control and heating systems. It operates in coordination with the primary thermostat and burner controls to support maintaining safe operating temperatures throughout the frying process.
