The Frymaster FM8060178SP Fryer High-Limit/Safety Thermostat Kit provides thermal protection by continuously monitoring cooking oil temperature, and interrupting the heating circuit when the preset 425°F limit is reached. Featuring a 2-1/4-inch sensing bulb with a 1/2-inch MPT connection the thermostat accurately detects temperature changes and triggers the safety shutdown before excessive heat can occur. Installed through the fry pot so the sensing bulb remains immersed in the oil, the kit connects with the electrical safety and temperature control circuits. It operates in conjunction with the operating thermostat and heating controls to maintain safe fryer operation throughout the cooking cycle.
