The Frymaster FM8060714 Fryer High-Limit/Safety Thermostat Kit acts as an individual temperature safety control that monitors cooking oil, and interrupts the heating circuit when the preset 425°F limit is reached. Equipped with a 2-1/4-inch sensing bulb and 1/2-inch MPT connection the thermostat continuously measures oil temperature and activates the protective shutdown when overheating conditions are detected. Installed through the fry pot with the sensing bulb immersed below the oil level, the kit connects to the fryer's safety wiring and heating controls. It operates with the operating thermostat and burner system to provide consistent thermal protection during normal fryer operation.
