The Frymaster FM8065333 High-Limit/Safety Thermostat Kit is designed to protect fryer operation by sensing excessive oil temperatures and interrupting the heating circuit when the preset 425°F safety limit is reached. Built with a 2-1/4-inch sensing bulb and 1/2-inch MPT connection, the thermostat provides continuous temperature monitoring for consistent overheat protection. Installed through the fry pot with the sensing bulb positioned directly in the cooking oil, the kit interfaces with the fryer’s safety controls and heating circuit. It operates in coordination with the operating thermostat and burner system to maintain controlled temperatures and support stable fryer performance.
