The Fogel HA349 Hinge Assembly uses a cam-lift design, which literally lifts the door during the door opening process and uses gravity to support the door closing itself. This interior design applies a helical rising surface to allow the smooth swing and the door to resume its fully seated position once released. The assembly is attached to the side of the refrigeration unit and the door panel with a clearance. This hardware allows commercial coolers and merchandisers to have a pivot point to hold the weight of the door when used at high frequency.
