The Frymaster 8261177 High Limit Safety Thermostat is a temperature controller used in Frymaster commercial fryers. It controls the temperature of the oil and turns off the heating components in case the oil temperature surpasses 425°F and overheats and could pose a safety issue. It is usually fitted in the control assembly of the fryer along with the other temperature control elements to ensure safe and stable cooking conditions. The thermostat is also essential in terms of safety for the appliance and the kitchen surroundings around it when there is normal frying by performing an automatic shut-off feature at the essential temperature levels.
