Description

The Hobart 00-344635-6 SP Thermostat responds to temperature changes in hot equipment by opening or closing the electric circuit to keep temperatures within the range of 200F to 450F. It has a 3/16-inch sensing bulb, 10 inches long, and a capillary tube of 36 inches, through which thermal changes are transmitted to the control assembly for manual regulation of heating. It is placed in the control compartment of suitable commercial cooking equipment, with the sensing bulb inside the heated cavity to measure the operating temperature accurately and accordingly permit proper regulation.
