The APW 2066849 Charbroiler Hood Orifice shapes the gas flow to a burner by creating an opening of the proper size to restrict the flow of fuel until it reaches the combustion chamber to form the proper flame size and combustion properties for that burner's use. The orifice has a calibrated hole through which gas flows to regulate the volume to ensure the right amount of gas burns. It is fitted in the gas train at the burner or hood assembly of compatible equipment where the specified size of the orifice of #49 fits.
