Description

The Hobart 00-720719-00001 Pilot Safety Valve is a gas control component that regulates fuel flow based on flame status in commercial cooking equipment. It operates by working with a thermocouple that detects heat from the pilot flame, and keeps the valve open during normal operation. If the flame is extinguished the valve automatically stops gas flow to the burner system. Installed within the gas supply assembly using 3/8-inch connections it supports consistent ignition performance, assists in ensuring secure operating conditions, and reduces the possibility of unburned gas entering the equipment.
