Description

The Johnson Controls H15AR-3C Pilot Safety Valve 3/8" is a gas control component designed to regulate gas flow and provide shutoff protection in compatible cooking equipment. Its primary role is to maintain pilot operation while interrupting gas flow if the pilot flame is lost. It works through a thermocouple-operated safety mechanism that monitors flame presence and controls the internal gas passage accordingly. Installed within the gas supply line near the pilot assembly, it integrates with the ignition system. This arrangement supports secure gas control, accurate pilot performance, and consistent equipment operation.
