Description

The Hobart 497765-1 Pilot Safety Valve is a gas safety control component designed to monitor pilot flame operation and regulate fuel delivery in commercial gas equipment. It works through a thermocouple-based system that keeps the valve open when the pilot flame is present and automatically shuts off gas flow if the flame is lost. Installed within the gas control assembly using 3/8-inch fittings, it ensures maintaining proper ignition conditions, supports efficient burner operation and assists in preventing unwanted gas flow during equipment use.
