O-Rings

O-Rings

O-rings are circular rings that are typically made of rubber or other elastomeric materials and are designed to create a watertight seal between two mating surfaces. O-rings are commonly used in faucets, valves, and other plumbing fixtures to prevent leaks and ensure a steady flow of water or other fluids.

In restaurant kitchen equipment, O-rings are used in a variety of ways, such as in commercial coffee machines, soda dispensers, and dishwashers. For example, O-rings are used in coffee machines to create a seal between the portafilter and the group head, ensuring that no water or coffee grounds leak out during the brewing process. Similarly, in dishwashers, O-rings are used to create a watertight seal between the spray arm and the water inlet, ensuring that the dishes are properly cleaned and sanitized.
