Hobart 00-413773-00001 Top Grate is a replacement support surface that may be used in compatible commercial foodservice equipment. It is a stable platform, which is about 8 3/4" in diameter and 11" at the longest point, and is used to hold cookware or products during heating or processing. The grate is installed in the top cooking section and evenly spreads the weight but permits airflow or circulation of heat that the appliance needs. A replacement of an old grate will reestablish proper positioning and the system can continue to perform as intended in the normal operation of the kitchen.
