The Keating 004267 Gas Valve NAT/LP 3/4" 120V 1/4 CCT is a flow controller that is used to regulate the flow of natural or liquid propane gas to burners by opening and closing an internal passage in response to electrical signals. It works by a solenoid mechanism which opens the valve according to the circuit connected so that the gas can be delivered to the ignition and combustion can be sustained. The valve is fitted into the gas line and is placed in such a manner that it fits in between the supply and the burner system of the appliance securely. Its design allows it to fit well into the piping and electrical connections and allows the heating system to be controlled.
