Hobart 01-1000V7-0054 Halogen Bulb 40W 120V G9 generates light by using electric current to conduct through a tungsten filament that is contained in a capsule of halogen that enables the filament to work in high temperatures, keeping the light output and color constant and filament thinning. It is fitted in fixtures and equipment with a bi-pin socket, like task lighting, accent lighting, small appliances, ovens and display cases where a small part is needed, and direct line-voltage operation is needed, and is normally mounted behind glass covers or protective enclosures, depending on the design of the fixtures.
