The Ranco 010-1409 Medium Temperature Control monitors and changes the connected electrical circuit as the sensed level reaches the selected setting. Its internal contacts open or close in response to temperature changes, controlling the attached refrigeration or heating circuit. The control is positioned within compatible equipment, with the 72-inch capillary routed to the area where temperature is being sensed. It covers a temperature range of 0°F to 55°F and uses the extended capillary to transfer temperature changes to the control mechanism. The electrical contacts then respond according to the selected temperature setting during operation.
