The Hatco 02-04-500 Booster Element is a 5000-watt 208-volt electric heating element that can be used in commercial cooking equipment. It produces additional heat to increase the temperature of incoming water to desired sanitation levels to support high-temperature dishwashing systems. This element is installed in the booster heater tank with a 2-1/2" square flange to be used with thermostats and controls to provide a steady level of heat output when in operation. In foodservice and commercial kitchens, it is used to make sure that dishwashers have the right temperature of rinse water.
