The Blodgett 098443 Natural Gas Solenoid Valve with 3/8" FPT and 1/4" Recessed Tab Terminals is an electrically actuated flow-control component that regulates propane delivery by opening or closing an internal passage in response to control signals. When powered on, the internal plunger shifts position to permit gas movement, when de-energized, the passage is blocked to stop flow. Installed within a commercial cooking appliance gas train, the assembly connects to threaded inlet and outlet fittings along with electrical tab terminals for circuit integration. It participates in fuel-management sequences supporting ignition control, burner supply regulation, and system safety interlocks.
