The Newco 100385 Brew Basket contains ground coffee during the brewing process and permits the free flow of hot water to uniformly move through the grounds to impart flavor to the decanter below. The internal shape directs the brew as the water passes, and a filter is held by the inner shape to separate the liquid coffee and the spent grounds. It fits in the brew head section of compatible coffee brewers, and it is placed directly under the spray head.
