The Cecilware 1013 Bowl Gasket for 3 and 5-gallon bowls closes the joint between the bowl and mixing head to ensure that the liquid does not leak out of the bowl. It operates by pressing between mating surfaces, forming a seal in the mixer. This gasket is fitted to the top edge of the bowl where it joins the mixing unit. It acts as the interface that ensures that the ingredients are contained within the bowl. The gasket is applied in commercial mixing equipment, batch processing it is necessary to have a secure sealing between components.
