The Russell 103079-009 Defrost Control Fan Delay Switch is activated/deactivated by the temperature condition of the refrigeration system to control fan operation. In a defrost cycle, the switch will not allow the fan to be activated until the desired temperature is reached and will then allow the energized fan circuit to function. The switch is located in the refrigeration control circuit, and its sensing element is located at a point where defrost temperature changes can be sensed. For use in compatible Russell refrigeration units, it is a two-wire connection with 15" leads for coordinating fan operation with the defrost cycle.
