The Cleveland 1038811 Immersion Heater Element W/Thermowell OC 1-3PH is used to warm by passing electrical current through the resistive warming element which is placed directly in the liquid. It works on the concept of electrical energy to thermal energy, which is to heat the fluid around it, and the thermowell has a temperature-sensing probe for monitoring and control input. The assembly operates in the heating circuit of the system to ensure liquid temperatures in the system during operation. It is placed inside the tank of compatible equipment and is mounted to the equipment using a 2-1/4-inch on-center fitting with electrical connections leading to the control panel.
