The Selecto Scientific 108-020 Water Filter Cartridge 2 Pack IC620 has a high-porosity carbon block that is used to strain particulates mechanically and adsorb chlorine and organic contaminants present in incoming streams chemically. The water moves through the dense media, which captures the microscopic particles and cancels the bad tastes or smell prior to the liquid leaving the core. This replacement set is mounted directly into the assigned filtration head under commercial system stations or under special foodservice equipment. This particular setup is the central purification point of the fountain soda dispensers and ice machines to ensure the uninterrupted purity.
