Vulcan Hart 10901-53 Orifice is used to measure the flow of gas to a burner by providing an opening of a specific size that limits the fuel before it enters the combustion chamber, which allows for determining the appropriate size of flame and combustion properties in that application. The orifice has a calibrated hole through which the gas passes and regulates the volume of it, and it is fitted in the gas train at the assembly of compatible cooking equipment, where the orifice size and thread configuration of the specified orifice size are compatible.
