The Garland 1466000 Pilot Assembly activates the main burner by providing a controlled pilot flame through the orifice, and the igniter gives an electronic spark. It works by directing gas to the pilot and igniting upon the demand for heat by the control system. This unit is mounted close to the main burner in compatible gas ranges, and the 24" wire is attached to the igniter and the control unit. The hole is used to facilitate the flow of the gas, and the assembly is fitted with specific mounting positions to enable safe operation.
