The Dormont 16100BP-48 is a flexible gas connector that is used to provide fuel between a building gas line and commercial cooking equipment. The 48 inch hose is coated with blue plastic and has male swivel ends with 1-inch MPT threads, which enable the hose to be aligned during installation without twisting the connecting piping. It is installed behind ranges, griddles, fryers and ovens in foodservice kitchens where the appliances are moved in order to be cleaned or serviced. The hose within the gas delivery system is a measured connection that allows movement and still allows the flow of gas to continue.
