The Garland 1806501 Convection Oven Pilot Safety Valve 3/8" NAT/LP 1/2" FPT controls the flow of propane by monitoring the pilot flame and allowing gas to pass only when the ignition system is operating properly. Working with a thermocouple and 25V control circuit it opens and closes the gas pathway through its 3/8" FPT inlet and outlet connections while directing pilot gas through the 1/4" CCT fitting for ignition and flame supervision. This component is installed within the gas control compartment of compatible convection ovens, where it connects the pilot assembly, burner system and incoming gas supply.
