The Montague 18183-8 Natural Gas Pressure Regulator is used to stabilize and regulate the pressure of gas to 4-8" WC to feed burners or appliances. Gas is introduced via the 1" inlet, and the required pressure is maintained for safe combustion. The regulator is mounted between the natural gas supply and compatible commercial cooking components and directly to burners and control systems. It is made to be used with natural gas, and it is used together with the safety and ignition parts of the appliance. The regulator is automatic and maintains a constant supply of gas in the normal cooking and working cycles.
