The Garland 2300500 Thermostat With 1/4" x 6" Bulb 54" CAP 150°F–425°F is a temperature control switch that senses heat and switches the control circuit on temperature. It works by a sensing bulb that feels heat change and transmits pressure change through the tiny capillary tube to a switch inside the thermostat frame. Placed in the control path, it makes electrical connections and controls switching on or off according to the chosen temperature range. As an assembly that forms part of the thermal control system, it allows for controlled switching between heating cycles based on temperature input.
