The Traulsen 27870 Thermometer is a temperature monitoring instrument for commercial refrigeration equipment. It uses a 48-inch-long capillary tube to conduct temperature changes to a 2-inch dial for easy visual reading and can measure temperatures from -40°F to 60°F. The 3" mounting flange of the thermometer is mounted on the equipment, and the sensing bulb is placed in the refrigerated compartment. It is a part of the temperature monitoring system and is used to indicate temperature continuously to ensure correct refrigeration operation in commercial kitchens, food storage areas, and refrigerated display equipment
