The Beverage Air 305-175C Evaporator Coil 20" X 4" X 3" is used to circulate refrigerant to draw heat out of the inside of the refrigerator, and maintain the appliance at the required cooling temperature. Air flows over the coil surfaces, which enables the transfer of heat between the cabinet and the refrigerant as a way of effective cooling. It is placed in the refrigeration unit, usually mounted in the back or top section where it remains stationary, while the fan circulates air over its coils to cool the storage area evenly.
