The Hobart 33488 Steam Pressure Control works by measuring the level of steam pressure in the system and changing the output to keep the system at the required operating range. It operates based on an internal sensing system that reacts to changes in pressure and the system will either raise or lower the amount of steam flowing on order. This control is located in the pressure regulating assembly of the equipment, which is close to the boiler or steam generating chamber and this control can directly come in contact with the steam line when the equipment is operating.
