The Traulsen 337-60405-02 Hot Cabinet Temperature Sensor is an internal air temperature sensor of the refrigeration cabinet that transmits a signal to the control system to be regulated. It reads the temperature variations with its sensing element and assists the controller in deciding when cooling cycles are to be initiated or terminated. This temperature sensor is installed in the case of compatible refrigeration units and is normally mounted in an air stream that does not have direct cooling surfaces. It is the element in the system that measures and reports the conditions in the cabinets to the control board.
