The Hobart 340307-2 Fryer Heating Element 5500W 240V is a heating element that produces heat when electrical energy is applied. This heat is then passed onto the fryer oil by the element and the unit can reach and sustain operating temperatures during cooking cycles. This component is installed in the fryer vat, mounted in the special mounting position and in oil when operating this component is made to fit certain fryer electrical specifications. It is designed to be used as a replacement of the heating element in case it is damaged.
