Manufacturer:
The Hobart 3489A Pilot Tube 3/16 24 is used to transfer gas in the supply line to the pilot burner by means of its rigid tubing, whereby the gas is ignited to form a small flame. The fixed length and diameter of the gas tube assist in keeping the pilot flame in the right position with respect to the burner assembly as the gas moves through the tube. It is fitted within matching gas-fired cooking equipment and is in such a way that the pilot flame touches the burner to ignite. The length and diameter are specific unit requirements and aid in fitting well in the system.
