The Montague 3499-1 Thermostat KX W/Dial works by detecting the temperature variation in the cooking or heating part and modifying the heat source to match. It operates on a mechanical or electrical control system which reacts to user-adjusted levels of temperature using the inbuilt dial to adjust it accurately. This thermostat is placed on the control panel of the equipment and can be directly accessed to control the temperature and easily connected to the internal heating elements of the unit.
