The Hobart 351306-7 Fryer Heating Element 5500W 240V is a heating system that generates heat when electrical energy is applied to it at the rated voltage. The element heats up the fryer oil and the unit can achieve and sustain operating temperatures during cooking times. It is installed in the fryer vat, which is installed in the specific heating element slot and completely submerged in oil when in operation. which is the same as the electrical requirements of other fryers. It is designed to be used in place of the damaged, worn-out, or non-heating element
