The Lincoln 369009 Oven Thermocouple Probe detects the temperature inside the oven and sends an equal signal to the control circuit to control the heat. The mechanism of operation is that it produces a small electrical voltage in relation to the variations in temperature on the sensing tip to allow the system to regulate the heat source accordingly. This probe is placed in compatible ovens where there is a need to monitor the temperature of the oven continuously throughout the cooking cycles and constantly during operation.
