The 3M Corp 66-931601 Cartridge Membrane TFS SGLP2-DUAL works by forcing fluid through a pleated nylon media, which traps microscopic contaminants through mechanical retention. This is done by using a semi-permeable barrier to divide the particulate matter and the liquid stream as the liquid stream flows through the outer cage to the inner core. The unit is installed in a pressurized commercial filtration system in a compatible filter housing. This component is used in chemical processing plants and commercial facilities, to ensure fluid purity requirements are met by including it in liquid delivery lines.
