The Berkel 404575-00693 Slicing Blade Carbon Steel swivel to slice food stuff evenly and the high points make the slicing consistent. It works by clamping onto the drive shaft through the threaded stud and bushing and conveying rotational force of the motor. This blade is fitted in the slicer assembly where it touches the food without interfering with the motor and other parts. It is connected to mechanical system of the slicer to ensure that it rotates and slices correctly.
