The Hobart 410837-2 Thermostat 1/4" X 11-7/8" 48" Cap GS is a temperature control part that uses a capillary tube sensor to detect thermal changes and translate them into mechanical switching action. It is installed within commercial kitchen equipment control assemblies, including ovens and refrigeration units, where temperature feedback is routed to electrical switching components. It operates by opening or closing circuits in response to preset temperature points to regulate heating or cooling operations during equipment operation. The capillary length and sensing bulb configuration allow temperature input from remote installation points within the system housing.
