The APW 4342900 Intake Valve Washer fits between the intake valve and the other related parts to assist in the dispersion of pressure exerted by a fastener and also provide a spacing where necessary. The tightening of the valve assembly causes the flat surface of the washer to distribute the load of the fastener head across a larger surface, which also helps keep the parts aligned. It fits in the intake valve assembly of compatible equipment, and it is placed around the fastening point of the valve on which the washer supports the connection.
