The Kolpak 53211-2565 1-1/2" High Door Sweep with Bracket 36-11/16" Long is a spare part that is attached to the bottom and door to create a seal on the floor. It works by compressing as the door shuts and it is in touch with the surface beneath it to assist in regulating airflow. The sweep is fitted all the way around the door and the bracket supplied is used to ensure that it is firmly attached and correctly aligned. It is designed to fit the normal door height.

Installation Steps

Step1: Turn off and secure the door; clean the bottom edge to remove dust and grease.

Step2: Position the door sweep against the interior bottom of the door and mark bracket holes.

Step3: Wear safety glasses; drill pilot holes and attach bracket with screws.

Step4: Slide or fasten the sweep into the bracket and adjust for a tight seal.

Step5: Test door movement and ensure sweep does not drag, tighten all screws.
