The Magikitch'N 5402-1033901 Radiant 22" X 3-3/8" S/S heats by converting electrical energy into infrared radiation emitted through its surface and creates a uniform amount of warmth along the length of the element. When current is passed through the radiant tube, the metal sheath becomes hot and emits heat to the surrounding space or objects placed under it. This radiant heating component is installed in cooking or warming users over food service lines, counter tops, or prep areas to provide controlled thermal output where direct radiant heating is necessary without the need to have large airflow.
